HP Unix Technic Consultant
Must have strong HP-UX OS and System administration skill sets. Proficient in HP-UX OS tasks such as installation, configuration. Planning and Design, Strong Knowledge in virtualization of Npars and Vpars and the VSE software product set including clustering. Experience with Integrity hardware platforms including blades.
Work independently on customer sites. VSE, Blades, Weekly travel within the continental US with a typical customer engagements lasting 1-2 weeks. Excellent customer skills needed to be able to discuss best practices as well as virtualization and migration solutions. Skills in both spoken and written English language is a requirement.
? HP Virtual Server Environment (VSE) Solution Service
o Knowledge and Hands-on experience with entire Insight Dynamics VSE Suite
o Strong HP-UX OS skills
o Other OS skills recommended (Windows, Linux)
o Application experience is a nice to have (Oracle, SQL)
? HP HPC Cluster Management Solution Service
o Strong Linux OS skills
o HPC Management software experience on the following platforms: XC, CMU, Insight Control Linux Edition, Scali and ClusterPack.
o HPC Application knowledge would be helpful, including Fluent and others
o Basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills
? HP Integrity / HP 9000 Solution
o Strong HP-UX OS skills
o Experience with HP Integrity and 9000 servers
