Qualifications:
College degree, relevant industrial experience, good written and spoken communication skills (lead engineer requires such communication skills in English),
Responsibility:
1.Design, implement, test and accreditation of HSxPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS/GSM data products.
2.Work with designated primary lab to define scope of work and accreditation planning on GCF, PTCRB, FCC & CE. Align equipment and human resources to optimize lab availability and usage.
3.Execute conformance tests per 3GPP standards, governmental rules and operators specifications in facilities such as GCF/PTCRB lab, chipset vendor lab, infrastructure lab and carriers lab.
4.Coordinate issue reports and fixes with Axesstel R&D, lab and chipset vendor.
5.Support carrier field activities including FIT and FOA. Support variant product development and certification via GCF and PTCRB ECO process. Define, customize and fine tune test procedures to facilitate passage of special test cases and/or special carrier requirements per customer’s requirement.

WWAN: HSUPA, HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS, GSM
Industrial – GCF, PTCRB, ECO process
Regulatory (a plus) – FCC, CE, R&TTE, SAR, co-location
Carrier – Infrastructure IOT (interoperability), TA (Technical approval), TRP/TIS
Equipment – R&S, Anite, Agilent, Racal, Diagnostic Monitor (DM) tools such as QCOM’s CAIT, QXDM and QCAT
Other: General knowledge on RF and communication theory, preferably in WWAN areas. CDMA experience a plus.
