Core Activities:
•Respond to functional queries from end users. The queries includes general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, procurement processes, contract management and HR/payroll processes
•Problem resolution – resolve problems reported on Oracle applications. Initiate request for application changes and enhancements i.e. bug fixes, data fixes, enhancements, follow up IT operation support team or Oracle product support team on technical problems
•Re-configuration of the application as required (e.g. set up new organizations)
•Initiating approved requests to the system Security Administrator for amendments to user access
•Identify opportunities of system optimization and integration. And
•Seeking the business process owner’s approval of technical changes requested on data fixes and enhancements together with any required funding approval
•Plan and perform relevant testing on system changes, including system upgrade, technical changes and reconfiguration
•Training the whole User Group in new system changes or procedures.
•On-going maintenance of the User Guide, Configuration Document, Standard Operating Procedures, Training material, etc
•Develop and execute business contingency plan during disaster recovery
•Assist with SOX testing on relevant functional processes
•Specification of technical changes required
•Prioritising the technical action list in conjunction with the technical support staff
•Ensuring that appropriate testing of technical changes is planned, documented and executed
•Formal acceptance of changes made
•Where necessary, elevating the priority of technical changes required for this application above those of technical changes for other applications via negotiation with technical support staff and the business process owner.
Required Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree
•3 + years in a similar role or experienced on implementation of Oracle HR implementation
